#DoBeautifulThings

Web page design for Keep America Beautiful’s #DoBeautifulThings initiative.

#DoBeautifulThings was an initiative by the country’s largest community improvement organization, Keep America Beautiful, to highlight that even in challenging times, individuals and groups are capable of doing beautiful things. My task was to design a webpage that would showcase both curated content as well as user-submitted content (with links to both submit entries and donate to KAB).

The experience consisted two key pages linked by several user flows – the landing page, which allowed users to preview highlighted content, and a gallery page that served as a feed for recently posted content. At any point in the experience, users could register and subsequently upload their own content. I worked directly with the director of Marketing to refine requirements and iterate design work, and later with a web developer to bring the page to life.

In addition to designing the web experience, I also delivered a mini-style guide for the initiative that I leveraged to develop additional assets including web and social media graphics.
